If you are selling anything other than livestock, you are a Vendor and need to provide an

Iowa Sales Tax ID Number and will pay a higher space fee than an Exhibitor.

If you are not selling, you are considered an Exhibitor. 
***If you are in the Hall of Breeds, there is no charge for the pens for your sheep.***
***If you are in the Hall of Breeds, you may rent space for vending at a reduced cost of $50 per 6’ x’10’ space***

Indoor or outdoor spaces are available. Fees are for 2 days. There aren't any one day rentals.
Private Treaty Sales are permitted with rental of space. Indicate your choice below: 
If you are in the Hall of Breeds, there is no charge for the pens for your sheep and the charge for Hall of Breeds participants who are vending is $50 for a 6’ x 10’ indoor space.

Indoor locations below will be in the Livestock Barn on concrete surface.  Security will be provided at night, but the building will remain open due to livestock.

Admittance fees will be $5/day (8 years and younger free)

If fees are paid by May 16, 2012 - One gate pass will be issued for Saturday and one for Sunday

with the rental of each exhibitor or vendor space or livestock pen.  

Cancellation Policy: 50% refund on or before May 16, 2012. No refund after May 16, 2012.

Set-up Friday, June 8, 2012 from 3 pm-7 pm. Must be set up by 7:30 am on Sat., June 9, 2012.

**Livestock Exhibitors need to provide wood shavings for bedding**

 

The Iowa Sheep Industry Association reserves the right to refuse applications at our own discretion. Fees will be refunded.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE***

§  We will be following the rules set forth by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship for Disease Control at Fairs and Exhibits; Health requirements for exhibition of livestock at the state fair and district shows. They can be found at: http://www.agriculture.state.ia.us/animalIndustry/exibitionAtStateFair.asp

§  Certificate of Veterinary Inspection must have been issued within 14 days prior to the date of entry to the exhibition grounds and will be required at arrival on the fairgrounds.

§  Scrapie Flock Enrollment may be completed and/or tags ordered by calling the Iowa State APHIS office at 866-USDA-TAG (866-873-2824).

§  All shearing must be done prior to arrival at the Dallas County Fairgrounds.
