There are several events going on in and around Des Moines the weekend of our festival in 2010. Make reservations for your lodging early!
Special “Festival” pricing available for the nights of June 11 and 12, 2010 at the Sleep Inn and Wildwood Lodge, both approximately a 15 to 20 minute drive from Adel. These rooms will be available until May 10, 2010, or until special blocks are filled, and then they will be released to the general public at the regular rate.
*Important* When you call you to make reservations, you will need to give the Group Block ID# listed with each hotel to receive the rates mentioned.
Sleep Inn at Living History Farms

The Sleep Inn is holding 20 rooms in a block for the Iowa Sheep Association (Block ID#3090) for the nights of June 11 and June 12, 2010. There are 10 King rooms and 10 Queen/Queen rooms in the block. The stay includes a continental breakfast, pool, whirlpool and lower level recreation room. There will be free appetizer/desert coupons to the Iowa Machine Shed restaurant upon check in for the guests.

The Wildwood Lodge

The Wildwood Lodge is holding 10 King rooms in a block for the Iowa Sheep Industry Association (Block ID #2399). There will be a deluxe continental breakfast with hot items included, pool, whirlpool and fitness room. There are bikes for free rental to the bike path, and complimentary coupons to the Machine Shed for appetizers/deserts with the purchase of a meal.
