American Sheep Industry Association Membership

Lifetime and Regular members of the Iowa Sheep Industry Association are also members of the  American Sheep Industry Association The purpose of the American Sheep Industry Association is to promote profitability of the U.S. sheep industry, primarily as the legislative and lobbying arm of the industry.  Regulatory action, animal health, trade and producer information round out the trade association efforts.  Volunteer producer leaders govern all policy decisions and budgets. Iowa producers have representation on the Board of Directors.  Iowa Sheep Industry Assocaition members support and participate in the efforts of the American Sheep Industry Association. ASI is the only national sheep organization that represents the U.S. sheep industry in our nation’s capitol.
